The Gathering Dead pg 1-10

             I am very exited to dive into this book I have heard that it is very good. The other book I am reading, Z for Zacharia is not so good so I really hope I will be able to start reading a interesting book. So far this book has started with a group of military soldiers in New York City during a zombie outbreak. The squad had to evacuate a docter and his daughter who might know how to stop this infection. So far I have learned that the zombies do not feal any pain so punching them of hurting them will not do much. I have also learned that the out break is only in a small part of the city and has not spread to time square. Most people have moved to the time square area untill they can get off the island. I am very exited to continue this book later this week.

Z for Zachariah pg 103-107

              Mr. Lomis is getting much better in his recovery from radiation posioning. Since this is happening Ann decides to clean out the room, replacing all the sheets and pillows. When Mr. Loomis awakend his eyes were black and they looked new. He tried to talked but it came out as a "croak" and Ann asumed he was asking for water. For the rest of the chapter Ann cleans the house which was not very interesting. This chapter was very boring and I hope they become more interesting. I predidct that something bad will happen soon because things have been getting better and better. I hope the next chapter will more more interesting.

Z for Zachariah pg 96-103

            During the night Ann looks after Mr. Lommis and makes sure his does not die during his sleep. At one point she was sure he had died and tried to pray for him and he endded up living. When Ann enters the room in the morning she goes into panic when she sees that his face was extremly pale and his heart was beating 50 times a minute ( The normal person's heart beats about 16 times a minute). When Ann goes to the church to make sure things are good she sees a baby bird and thinks of it as a good omen. When she goes back to the house Mr. Lommis has not moved he still sits staring into space, looking lifeless. She tries to read to him in hope that he will hear it but to her knoledge it did not work. She then decides to play the piano and go to sleep.

Z for Zackeria pg 88-96

              Mr. Lomis continues to be sick, his tempiture reaches 106 degrees. He had many nightmares that involve his partner Edward. Mr. Lomis agrues with Edward about leaving the underground lab because Edward wants to make sure his family is ok. Lomis knows that everyone out side of the bunker is dead and he doesnt want Edward to go out side and waste the only radiation suit. Mr. Lomis goes a little crazy and shoots Edward because he becomes very mad at him. Ann is very worried about Mr. Lomis and tries very hard to keep his tempiture down. Near the end of the chapter Ann tries to pray for Mr. Lomis. She mentions that this was strange for her because it was her first time praying for anyone in her life. It took her a very long time to find a bible seeing as she never uses it. This was a very exiting chapter and I am exited to read the next chapter.

Z for Zachariah pg 79-87

                In this chapter Mr. Lomis is getting alot worse. In the begaining his tempiture reached 105. Then after going to sleep he had a crazy dream where a man named Edward entered the house so he woke up and ran to grab a gun. He then ran outside and started shooting at the house. Ann calmed him down and he went back to sleep. Then he got scared whenever she left the house to do somthing. I think that somthing is going to heppen to Mr. Lomis. for example I think he might go crazy and start shooting again. I am very exited to see what will happen to Mr. Lomis in the next chapter of my book, Z for Zachariah.

Z for Zachariah pg 73-79

               This chapter was very shot but still important to the plot of the story. In this chapter Ann get the tractor running with the help of Mr. Lomis and the book, The farm mechanic. She has to move some pumps around and turn some switches but when she does she realises she has 3000 pounds of gas in that tank and is very happy about it. After getting a feal for the tracter Ann goes to one of the fields and starts to grow corn. She planed to continue growing crops in the morning but somthing bad happened. When Ann arived back at the house Mr. Lomis tempiture was 104. This was very bad because he was just starting to get better from the sickness. I am very exited to see what heppens in the next chapter of my book.

Z for Zachariah pg 64-72

           This chapter begains with Ann wanting to make a salad. While out gathering supplies for a salad she comes across the thought of marrying Mr. Lommis when she is older sheing as there is know one else alive. I thought this was quite stange seeing how he has only been introduced a short while back in the story. After finishing breakfest Ann went fishing with Mr. Lomis. Sadly Mr. Lomis could not make it and had to go back. Ann continued without him. I think that this book has been becoming less interesting with every chapter. I hope that soon somthing will happen that will introduced a big problem.
